I've seen this a while ago

I've seen this a while ago and I don't get the purpose of it.

1) Put an engine like that in a reproduction speedster and it's worth 10-20 times more than the car
2) Put an engine like that in a high end reproduction speedster and it's worth 5-10 times more than the rest of the car
3) Put an engine like that in an original 4 cam speedster and have some real fun (who would do that anyway?) and store the original engine. (this is probably going to be the one that makes the most sense as they are going to be the only guys who can afford this thing anyway). But then again, why not keep the whole car at home in a garage and just get a repop to have some real fun in???

My 0.02c, buy a Replica speedster and put a flat 6 in there with ALL of the bells and whistles.

Well! Depends

To be honest if I had the coin I would definitely build a 356 coupe with a tubular chassis, Mendeola/ Weddle transaxle, Mendeola's front suspension, Mendeola's IRS rear suspension, stick one of them Pauter engines in it........ this would purely be for racing  ...... Sigh!  dreaming don't cost anything...LOL

90.5 stroker B pistons Coated. Head studs from Gerd Weisser Germany 12mm to 8mm to 10mm  ( no case savers )

Mofoco heads big valves 56cc combustion chambers to achieve 9.1 compression ratio .Ground hardened head washers.  ARP head nuts.

twin plug per cyl . Subaru coil packs.VW hall efect  2.1 disi.   Wolf 3d EFI Porsche 924 Turbo injectors. CB manifolds straight  throttle bodies 2x 45 dcoe type
